I went on a hike today! There was quite some “traffic” on the mountain, lots of tourists at this time of the year… too many tbh! Luckily I left early, and by the time I was going down, most people were still on their way up! 14K / 3,5 hours, 700 m slope!

Though I would freeze to death walking in those temperatures I guess, I’m more used to the Mediterranean style!

I took a few nice snaps of my walk through a wintery Haigh Woodlands (UK) earlier. There’d been an overnight dusting of snow which thankfully wasn’t hazardous underfoot. The Leeds to Liverpool canal has started to freeze over because of the recent sub-zero temperatures. Haigh windmill, the only surviving windmill in Greater Manchester was looking as majestic as ever.
All in all, a nice pleasant stretcher of a walk.
