How many days does everyone have? Don't be shy #2

Thats so great to hear. I was just talking about how tough it can be to lose friends on this journey. Just glad to hear that coversation going well!

Btw, noticed how close our sobriety dates are. Im on day 123.

@802 So close!! Congrats on your journey  And yeah I’m really happy it went well. We’ve all been friends for many years. I always like the saying everyone comes in your life as a blessing or lesson… it’s so true. The ones that are meant to stay will.

Starting 42!!!

I hadn’t heard that one before but its so true. Its funny how the “lesson” ones come to mind so easily…

Day 998 of my resurrection. Almost to quadruple digits. Recovery has taught me more than anything else is “love and tolerance.” There , but for the grace of God go I.

Congratulations :ok_hand:

It’s a good thing to hear. Great job

It was 18 years from my first AA meeting until I got permanently sober. It was 5 DUI convictions, thousands of dollars in lawyer fees and fines, at least 4 serious relationships including a divorce, maybe 4 car wrecks, 5 jobs and 100% of my pride lost.

If I can do it, you can do it. I had plenty of help, but I’m the guy who decides every day that I’m going to do what I need to do to not drink today.
