434 days clean. I took my second covid shot Monday was so sick for 2 days and still feel a little sick although the thought of using came upon me I was able to power through it my go to phrase is play the tape all the way through just doing that is enough. All the pain and problems it has caused me. I’m good no more

@Marke, yeah man, I got sick for 2 days as well after shot #1. Shot # 2 I was all good except the pain in my arm where the needle went in. That shot made a Tetnis shot look like a pansy.

1700 days 
still doing 3 AA meetings a week and individual therapy, service where I can. Appreciate all the newcomers sharing their stories here, good for me to remember where a drink or a drug will take me. I am getting better every year sober at handling life, even where life is still tough. With support I truly believe it’s possible one day at a time for anyone to recover.
