Hope everyone is having a super solid, rad, & positive day today! I will be going onto 18 days sober from alcohol after today and I couldn’t be more stoked!!! I’m just here to say thank you to everyone that has decided to help me along the way! I have been taking fitness to a whole new level since I started my sobriety and safe to say I’m loving it and feel amazing! I’ve taken it upon myself to sign up for a 5k just to say I’ve done one and I know I can do it! But the crazy thing is is I don’t think I would’ve done it if I wasn’t sober. Trying new things and overcoming them is really helping me think I can do anything and more especially without alcohol in my life holding me back! Thank you to this community may you have a positive and fulfilling day!

I have to add that my dad’s birthday marks my yearly sober anniversary. The last night I drank was on his birthday in 2021. I am very grateful that I spent the last nearly 2 years of his life with a sober mind and made memories with him that I can actually remember. I’ll miss my dad for the rest of my life, but the memories will last forever.

4 days without a drop of alcohol, going to the gym, walking and meditating. I feel super good, and very grateful, to be able to say: I’ve passed my 3-day barrier without a drop of alcohol. The reality is, I don’t need it.
So thankful for what can I do, for me.

Great news that you’re feeling better. It helps with the motivation to be sober. I’m on Day 10 and find it hugely motivating.
