I am at 21 days and I attended a cast party last night with my husband (he just closed a local production) and there was a LOT of drinking going on. I didn’t feel any desire to imbibe along with them and it felt pretty great. I stuck to soda and snacking. I feel pretty accomplished and I also had a good sober time.

That is really good. Doing very well to be able to be around others drinking and not do so yourself. Its encouraging to hear that you had a good time. I think a lot of people worry about how they are ever going to go out and be around people. Well done you’re doing great.

Good work, there really is no missing out by not drinking, I find it’s the exact opposite. You get to partake and remember things, usually don’t make an ass out of yourself.
