I’m back.. today is day 64.
Relapsed again, tired of relapsing.
What’s different this time you might ask?
I’m doing therapy. Seeing a psychiatrist. Taking lexapro. Monthly vivitrol shot. I was sober for 3 weeks before trying out the shot. I was nervous but glad I did it.

Welcome back Emily. And congrats on 64 days, that’s great! Also great to hear of the things you’re doing different now to make this sober life work for you. Hoping all the work you put in will give results. Keep working your sobriety one day at a time my friend, and you’ll never be stopped. And know the opposite of addiction is connection. Glad to see you, wishing you all success.

@Itsemip I think it’s great you haven’t given up after so many attempts.
Please keep coming back here and sharing your experience and help with other people who are where you were. Have you tried working the 12 steps?

Day 73 today 
started a new job something I wouldn’t have done if I wasn’t sober. I hadn’t worked since November.

@Itsemip my suggestion is to get going to meetings then you can even do them online but I feel like in person is better
