Much of my family drinks so I opted out of traditional family oriented thanksgiving and instead ate with my mother’s church family. I also saw a few of my AA buddies there. I am 95 days in and I can’t explain the gratitude in my heart for my recovery!! God is doing for me what I could not do for myself.

Congratz on your 95 days sober @Aporter1 you made the right choice as i see it and you ended up With guys from AA very cool and yes something to be gratefull for. Aa are awesome spot to be in .happy for you

Today was #262 and one of the best holidays yet. Went to a noon AA mtg, everyone brought food and about 75 of us stuck around and ate. Then some motorcycle AA’s and my husband and I went on a ride, later tonight met up at AA friends house for more food and sober Texas hold em runs! I won $36…lol…ALL with out drugs and alcohol. Life is amazing and I’m so grateful for the program of AA for saving my life, my husband’s life and our marriage! I have a huge family in AA. We are never alone unless we choose to be. Stay strong, stay focused on you, stay sober just today!
