my dad is in the hospital & we are still waiting on answers
but this is first thing i thought of doing is reaching out to others in recovery
i spoke to my sponsor but im struggling rn

Hi Ashley I’m sorry to hear about your dad. Hopefully the news will be best case scenario.
Reaching out to others in recovery is absolutley a good thing to do. No matter what happens, I assure you it’s much easier to deal with in sobriety. Life will have many ups and downs, but the number of ups will be much higher and the number of downs much lower in recovery.

I hate not knowing too. Sometimes it helps me to focus on my breath, soothe myself that way…maybe it will help you as well…
