I’m starting to believe that People genuinely don’t understand why anyone would go out and enjoy themselves without drinking - well news flash - u can!!! I’m proof! For years I thought taking coke and drinking was only way to have fun but really every sober night teaches me more about myself. I had no confidence so i drank or got high to feel comfortable but in fact it made me more uncomfortable and paranoid - tonight i ended up in a club - a place when I was last there I passed out - so proud to leave early and go get in my car - my friends are supportive but ask is this just for Xmas (my sobriety) no my dear it’s for today and tmrrw it will be for that day - stay strong - if I can stay sober with silly season surrounded by Irish drunk people - u can do it too
