Absolutely!! Welcome! I was a binge drinker as well, could go a couple of weeks, or just 1 or 2 sometimes or 4 bottles other. You never knew what you would get at the end of my drinking career. It is a relief to have let all that go finally. Lots of good support and information here. Hope to see you around. Check out the cat thread as well!

A more serious tread is Checking in daily to maintain focus #63 our active check in sober tread. The first year of my recovery I was here daily to show my accountability to myself and others as well. That helped me a lot! Still sober for more then 5 years today. Not to bragg but to show you it can be done!

Thank you for the check in! Day 45 today! I’ve been to a couple social situations where others have been drinking alcohol, and it makes me feel a little uneasy. I find it helpful to bring my own sparkling waters or juices just to have something to sip on and hold in my hand. I’ve been following the threads you linked regularly, and they help keep me on track! Hope you are doing well!
