Just watching a really cool interview with psychiatrist Daniel Amen & he said this was the best question to ask yourself for a healthy brain.
This really hit me, as that is the question I need to start asking myself every time I feel triggered and wanting to drink. He also has alot of great tips on holistic health, and using supplements before medication. I just got Wellbutrin today, as I need the extra help to get out of this year long funk, but I prefer a more holistic approach. For me, that was a major reason to stop drinking – it’s an obvious depressant & a person who can’t leave the house or shower everyday is in no state to handle it .
Anyone read any of his books or have other nuggets to share?
