New goals or routines that youve stayed consistent with:

~ The gym. I love exercise and Im thankful that I have the ability and the time to workout 4-5x a week.

~ I have kept up with my skincare routine. Its something I enjoy doing for self care.

~ I AM going to say that Ive been consistent with my eating, even tho I emotionally ate yesterday. For me consistency isnt about not making mistakes. Its about not allowing those mistakes to bring u down for days on end. I had a rough day yesterday but today I am back on track! I am being consistent and making progress.

~ My goal for increasing my spirituality by attending online Sunday sermons and daily prayer, has so far been successful this year. Hope to continue on with that.

~ I have been attending my ED support group every 2 weeks and will be starting my LifestyleRX program this Tuesday!

Simple ways to get goals or routines back on track is to just pick up where you left off! :slightly_smiling_face: There’s nothing wrong with taking a break or putting a pause on things for whatever the reason may be. Life gets chaotic and I think it’s important to show ourselves grace. It’s so easy for us to be hard on ourselves when we feel like we’ve “given up” on our goals or routines. Progress is never linear and that makes the journey worth it.

I honestly think I have been overlooking the progress I made when it comes to managing my emotions/feelings about my job. I still feel stuck and resentful. But I don’t carry that negativity throughout my in-office days anymore like I used to.

I think the Christmas break that I took and the reading I’ve done about how to survive in such an environment helped tremendously!

I go in, do my little “tasks”, let the annoying things roll off my back by literally just taking a minute to breathe :joy:, go ahead and peacefully deal with said annoying thing, then go home.

I also focus on the plans I have for the future. Plans that give me hope that this won’t last long. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think my boss has noticed too because I’m not talking :poop: or giving attitude like I was starting to because I was at my breaking point. :rofl:

Jan 14th - What makes me feel warm inside

Id have to say my son. The love I have for him is something I cant even describe in words. My fav part of the day is when I will sometimes climb onto his bed at night and we will talk and cuddle before he falls asleep. He warms my heart :heart:
