Good morning all. I woke up today not realizing what today was. 6 months sober. I get to look out the window and and see the mountains without a hangover. With reading the pages here, the support of my family and the support from my group I can continue this beautiful journey. Some days are definitely tough. I live by couple little phrases. “I’m not saying staying busy will make you sober, but being bored will definitely get you drunk” and “God believes in you. You should too.” Simple and true. Don’t make your life complex. The military taught me a valuable lesson that I only really started using. The KISS method. Keep It Simple Stupid. Thank you all for sharing and being there for me. To those that are still struggling hard. Just read above. We believe in you too. Just keep it simple.
