Just venting :)

Im literally just dropping in to say hey to everyone. Im 103 days sober today and counting. I dont have much of a support system, not much family or positive people around. Trying to just be a good human, and a good mommy. Lifes tough to not have friends or a sounding board thats experienced the hell of addiction and the other side. So hoping i can find a few here. Have a good night yall.

Absolutely that would be awesome

38 days sober. 31 years of drugs and alcohol. Learned in group tonight that I need work on my communication and relationships. I tend to agree. Group is a safe spot to start opening up but it has stayed there and not to the outside world. I guess joining this group on the app is my step to “you get out of it what you put in”. Trying to step outside of the hyper independency I have built for myself.

Single mom too and support system is a mere 2 people. I understand the yearn and need of growing that support system. Congrats on the 100+ days - it’s encouraging to hear.

Well done on 103. No small feat, esp with kids in the picture. Keep going. One day at a time. :flexed_biceps:t3:

:waving_hand: hey buddy. You can do sobriety! :sunflower::heart_hands:t3::cherry_blossom: 38 days is incredible. Just one day at a time. One breath at a time. I did anything in the early days not to go back to the old cycles; stripping wallpaper, sanding floorboards, tidying out boxes of old stuff, sorting and selling clothes. My house is half done everywhere!, still an absolute mess with stuff everywhere BUT I am sober I will tend to things in my own new sober time :heart_hands:t3::sunflower: keep going :raising_hands:t3::flexed_biceps:t2:

Good to see others helping others along the way. That’s how we get to stay sober. Love seeing this!

Still trying to figure out how all the buttons work  I can relate on the to do lists and projects. I always have a list with boxes to check daily. The every other weekends when my boys are at theirs dads I HAVE TO have a plan on what I’m doing that weekend by Thursday or I can get lost and wrapped up in my head. The stupid Why’s and What the F&cks will creep in and I spend time trying to solve the riddle that has no answer. Today is day 38 and group session tonight was amazing!!! I actually got some dirt off my chest that made me feel cleansed. I have a ton of work to do, but day by day I reach in deep to find the means for actions on progress and unpacking. Going to find a meeting this weekend. Made a list of three spots with times and topics. Will be my first. Gotta put in the work
