I listened to this on my walk to work this morning. Its not what I thought it would be, I guess I had an expectation. But that didn’t matter cuz I was having a difficult time getting the squirrel cage in my mind to calm down and focus. So I will give it another listen another day.
My walk is around 20 minutes so I try to pick ones within that time limit.
Thanks for sharing. I gave it at try before starting on some step work I have been uncomfortable about starting.

Definitely helped calm my mind to work on that part of my inventory. Much more relaxed and less anxious about it.

I try to do a little meditation before I dig into step work or listen to other read their step work. Just to make sure I am really in the present moment and grounded. It makes so much difference to my answers and my listening skills.
I haven’t done that yet. It seems so obvious now I should lol I have more work to do and will begin with meditation. It made a big difference

I’m going to give this one a listen on my walk to work this morning. I seem to be stuck in a lack of gratitude or maybe just feeling less of it. I do enjoy walking and meditating the most vs sitting or lying down.
Oh yeah I love walking meditations. I think they actually have “walking meditation” on Insight Timer. Have you ever searched for that?
I used one. I should have used one today. The meditation i tried today didn’t work out, it had i.agining your feet as roots lol didn’t work well with walking
I have a car to drive to work the next few days so I will be sitting at home in the mornings for meditation while bringing that 4th step on home. I will remember to meditate FIRST, before writing. That was super helpful.
I had my first real spiritual meditation the other day, where a panther was protecting me holding me, showing me my strength and the whole meditation was amazing. I writ it all down in detail as it was nothing I’d experienced before.
Its 4:30am here so il take a pic of what I writ tomorrow if anyone interested.
Was amazing cant wait to feel a connection like that again.
Also had 1-2 spooky encounters but sure that was just my own mind.
Meditation has saved me more than I know, the more I practice the more I feel the healing, and I go in with no expectations now that’s why I feel really connected when moments of spiritual awakening happens because I dont feel it’s my imagination.

I love to hear about others experiences as well, it really interests me and since being introduced to meditation and buddhism (on here, I think you first inspired me, with the eye mask headphones and pema chodron I’m sure it was you, I could be mixed up though with another person ?) and ways to live peacefully I have really been trying to live and make the changes I can for long term peace and love for the world and everything and everyone in it. And educating myself on more spiritual living.
Realising its not an over night process or even finished one were always evolving and learning.

This was the meditation that I had the panther experience with
It doesn’t all make sense, and it happened in diferemt order some bits, but thats what i writ straight after so its my closest to remembering it exactly how it was and my perception of it.
I know some might find it weird but it happened to me and i feel joy from it.

Tried this sleeping meditation last night. I dont think I made it 15 minutes through it and was out! Lol
Love his voice and meditations, so peaceful and caring.
I really enjoy 30 minute daytime meditations, and all night fall asleep to ones.
There was this lovely meditation on you tube that must have been made during a lockdown.
It is 15 minutes and really took away anxiety and worry and left me feeling like I’m standing on the ground in my own 2 feet again, after feeling anxious, lost even hopeless and times.
But I cant find it anywhere.

For some reason Nikki Sutton meditations.really help my body and shoulders especially relax so quickly with the way she talks.
