I wonder about the rope climb in gym, those were scary! Trying not to rope burn on the way down! Or get halfway up and panic, lol

I didn’t realize these were in other parts of the world…we had them in Southern Arizona and they’re called Tarantula Hawks, with one of the most painful stings on the planet. I filmed one dragging a paralyzed tarantula up a reed fence one time while a bunch of drunk guys hid a ways behind me screaming like little kids. They don’t eat their prey, they paralyze them with venom and lay eggs in them. Amazing!

OH my! :scream:
That helps with my decision if I should go visit the in-laws as they “winter” in Arizona

I didn’t have to worry about coming down. Never. Not once made it up.
That was really stupid. So were sit ups and pull ups.

 In their defense, they try to stay away from humans, like most of the creepy crawlies out there, including the tarantulas. I lived there for almost 9 years, several of those out in the boonies, and we rarely saw the exciting stuff. Had to go looking! And if you’re in a populated area, you’ll be just fine. It’s a gorgeous state.

Once I made it up it was easy each time. I was such a tomboy. I did the longest arm hang in the presidential awards testing, lol.
