So, my grandfather was a sheep herder in Wyoming as a young boy. An obvious skill he aquired… sheering sheep. He had a collie…I was in 3rd grade…Mom and Grandma were out shopping.
It was August and blistering hot. So he gave his collie a sheer. That poor dog was shaved down to its skin with a “mohawk” the entire length of her back. The dog looked physically embarrassed for days.
When Mom and Grandma got home and saw her…guess who got yelled at? Me, because I let him do it
