I do not use chapstick except maybe once a winter in an emergency because they all end up in my laundry

We had a freshly minted butter bar when I was on a JTF mission way back, and he was enlisted with us and then went over to officer,
We had a few of those our old CO was one, and he was a great leader.
When this butter bar was enlisted be was cool AF, all of a sudden pin some rank on he does an about face, talking about walking around base to see how many people salute him and shit, but then cried no one likes him anymore. How come everyone respects the CO and not him
I said go chill with the CO and learn how to be an officer and you’ll see that you’ll develop the respect of your peers

Ive seen so many flip as soon as they make O3. They forget where they came from. I have sailed under two COs that i would sail into hell with tho. But in my experience i tend to not trust the Officer type
