I drive through a roundabout all the time, look both ways people who use them everyday still don’t know wtf they are doing

I got lost the first time I encountered a roundabout 
. I went one way and Apple Maps made me turn around. Then I went a different way and had to turn around. I felt so stupid. I still don’t understand why a 4 way stop can’t be used instead

The idea is that roundabouts are more efficient and safer than 4 way stops,
Myth busters did an experiment that showed more cars can pass through a roundabout in the same amount of time Vs a 4 way stop
They also say less accidents, but there’s less roundabouts than 4 way stops so I feel that number is skewed

I would have YEARS of my life back from waiting at stoplights if they were roundabouts instead.
But let’s be honest, most people don’t know how to use a 4 way stop either
