Idk why this made me laugh so hard
Well, you don’t really have to get to Sweden for it. I’d say it’s more a mindset.
You need coffee of course and a sweet pastry, or something that you’ll like, an open cheese sandwich, a banana or whatever doesn’t matter to much what it is. You can gather friends or family or be all alone.
Sit down with your coffee and choosen eatable, not in front of the tv or social media or anything, like that. If you got a magazine, old school in paper format that’s okey to read, relax and enjoy for about a half an hours. And you’re doing the Fika thing.
I can also get you some recipes in the foodie thread if you wish.
That’s all nice. But I think it best we do it in Sweden so it’s authentic.
You’re all welcome anytime
I love everything about this and would love some recipes
So much better when shared with friends and like @Dazercat said - i too would like the authentic experience. Maybe one day we can all meet up and enjoy a day of Fika
