In some cases it does contain nutmeg. Nutmeg is sold over the counter here because a few years ago there was an online challenge that made people eat big quantities of nutmeg. Which gave hallucinations. Because in bigger quantities it’s toxic.

So I guess to much pumpkin spice actually could kill someone

We can buy them whole as well. But only over counter and as max 3 pieces at a time. And you can’t go back same day or even same week to buy extra.
