I’m a farmer/country kid. We all do
We used to either compete about who dared to touch it, who found the best and longest straw to touch it with,or make the famous “chain” in rubber boots and see if the one in the end of the chain got shocked or not.
Guess the power wasn’t that strong during those days, I remember it being unpleasant but it didn’t really hurt.
Get stucked in barbed wire trying to jump a fence was worse nowdays there’s a recommendation against barbed wire and most farmers here don’t use it.
