Messed up!

Hi everyone, I’ve not been on for a while, messed up spectacularly and have drank for last couple of weeks. Feeling terrible

You’re here now Sarah. We can’t change the past but we can make a decision to change the future by changing today. One day at a time for all of us. I’m glad you’re here. Can’t do this alone. We’re in this together. Hugs.

You’ve done something really important for yourself since, you’ve come back Sarah. That is a great step in the right direction :people_hugging:

If it’s worth mentioning, I was sober from April to 3 days ago. I had stopped coming here as much as I was, and with that I lost one of the most important things of my sober journey - communication. As said to me so often since, there is strength in numbers.

Just keep coming back, reinstate your sober toolbox, and walk with me through this. Im three days sober, so not so far ahead of you that I won’t understand how you’re feeling. All we have to do is say NO to alcohol today. We will worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.

Keep checking in, reading, and talking to us

It is why attending meetings is important as well, it’s that connection face to face which imo is more important than solely doing it online
