When we are drifting we often feel lost and confused about the path to take. By looking at our situation with a beginner’s mind, a sense of openness and curiosity (instead of frustration or resentment) we may start to see opportunities. Time spent drifting is not time wasted, every day is an opportunity to learn.

When we experience anger we can try and react with SAIN

Stop - take a breath, saying the first thing that comes into your mind is unlikely to be best thing to say
Allow - notice what you’re feeling, let it be there
Investigate - try and be curious, why is this happening?
Non-identification - exploring emotions without letting it define us… I am feeling anger, not I am angry
