So far I listened to the first song Touch Ground and I must say I love it - pretty bad ass!
Thanks man! Feels good to finally get to the finish line. That would cool to play all the way over there! Just need to assemble a bandā¦
What do you need, I can make it work lol
@HoofHearted what was the name of the site you used to replace JamKamz? I had the guys over last night while we worked on some stuff but Yano real estate in my house to rehearse Is well limited, could have used the deck but I donāt know if the neighbors would have approved
3 of us live locally so we often hit up the studio or just one of our houses. But drummer dude and vocalist habe a 2 hour hike. So full assembly really occurs for the rehearsals before shows, but I mentioned we could do something like the jam kamz to work together in our homes, and make things tighten up before dress rehearsals
Itās called Sonobus - https://www.sonobus.net/
It definitely can make rehearsals and song writing easier, as long as everyone is setup properly; works best with:
- Modern audio interface with low latency (ex. Focusrite Scarlett 3rd gen)
- High speed internet (cable, fiber etc.)
- Hardwired into the router (no wifi)
- Mic and headphones to communicate with one another in addition to your instrument.
As long as everyone can meet that criteria, should work fine!
I downloaded the album on Apple Music but havenāt listened to it yet. Iām waiting for a longer drive. I am very excited for you! Iām already sure I will like it.
Thank you! Hope you like it!! Fun fact: my son made the cover art. He was messing around in a computer animation program and that came out, I thought it looked cool, so I used it.
I shared with alot of people, a lot of reviews very positive,
The census is it sounds like he took all that Seattle sound of the 90s and put it into a blender wrote an album, the. I say well he Lives a few hours from Seattle and is early 40s and their like boom yup. Makes sense the music we grew up on
Thanks man!!
Come to think of it I donāt think my Mac has a hardwired Port for an Ethernet cable. I wonder if USB would throttle it?
But the other stuff I have interface with low latency, mics of course guitars and about a hundred different ways to connect them
Iām all for long distance jams even if itās just for fun, I shared something a while ago called a world wide jam from YouTube, would love to do something like that. I know myself and Hoof Hearted can play multiple instruments so itās just a matter of finding enough people to mix it together.
I started writing this song a while ago, more than a year. This song was inspired by someoneās story here. I donāt remember who it was, but it was about their marriage and how it was dissolving. Someday, Iād like to finish it, but I think the one who inspired the song is no longer activeā¦ I would have to take liberties.
Lyrics
Letās call a truce, while the terms of my surrender lie in ruins
Remember, you were the one who demanded my return
In case itās true, I hope to god that I can now pursue Something new,
So I can walk away and start to fill my heart
Loneliness is always felt apart
Trying to find my from the dark
I can finally say, time to turn up and face the day alive!
No one told me it was gonna to be this hard
Yet another work in progress. This one definitely brings my influences to the surface
Nice! How.do you like it?
ok that g string (octive) broke on tuning but managed to get some stronger ones so no breaks so far the tone is better than 6 string ,
This was too cute not to share.
This is my Daughterās debut, only 2 years old and already releasing the bangers!
Soooo cute!! Sheās gonna be a superstar with daddyās help.
Just finished this song I started writing like 5 months ago!! HA!
The story of this song is here: Friday Thread #2 - #1875 by HoofHearted
Thatās beautiful! I love it! What a Christmas family memory for your children to pass down to their children!
The chorus is nice and melodic and the words are nice and poetic in their meaning. Itās definitely my favorite. The well placed, dramatic sigh around the 3 minute mark made me smile for some reason.
Nicely done.
