Music To Help You Heal

That’s enthusiast!

“…never forget what I’m fighting for…”

Think I shared this at the time, on the metal thread, but I found this 7 months ago and it was with me when I did my fist solo wild camp. At the time the lyrics were pretty apt. Just heard it again and it took me right back there.
Music is a powerful tool!!

Very powerful song. Has been a huge part of both of my attempts at sobriety. The lyrics literally felt like my story when I was desperate to get sober.

Plus the song just absolutely rocks! Guitar play is amazing.

Found this under one of his videos and it fit’s:
“Music is the common language of mankind.
Music is the acting of feelings.
Music tells things, that words can’t.
Music is singing love.”

My summer rewind from last year on Spotify.
This reflects where I was in my journey. Still new, still learning.
Bands like tool are brand new to me in my sobriety.
Alice in chains revisit from twenty years ago. More relevant now because Layne’s lyrics!
Brought back the feelings and memories of that time.
