Really good to hear! I had a similar realization recently and I dropped atheism etc. and returned to Christianity. I’ve been gaining so much comfort and courage from reading the Bible and a Christian book called _The Reason for God_. Of course I’m still anxious and full of fear, but I got Jesus and God in my life and heart again which is so great! I’m not alone anymore and I can’t do this alone. ---

I love this thread and love y’all. Have a strong week. I always keep Jesus at my side when I go out into the world. Do I still walk astray? Yep, but I’m able to find him when I can take a minute to step back and think in his presence. Before any decisions, in my anger, when giving or seeking advice, and just living. The old me would just fly off the handles and make poor choices. Keeping him close builds me stronger. Love y’all ---

My panic attack is fading away after I read some Bible passages and prayed. Those reminded me that I’m not alone and I don’t have to survive from these emotions and cravings alone. Although I’m a total mess right now, my faith to God and Jesus Christ is stronger than ever before, I try to give myself to them fully. I’m so grateful to them, they really give me a meaning to my life. Although I’m not fully feeling it right now in a rational level, deep in my heart I know everything will be allright as long as I stay sober and try to focus on the present moment because that’s all we got. Tomorrow will take care of itself. I’m feeling humble and grateful. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5-6 ---
