My reason for Recovery

Hi All!
Mainly my reason for recovery is my 10 year old son, Ethan. He is such a remarkable, wonderful, funny, smart, sensitive, loving, caring little man and he deserves the best Mom I can be, every day.
We have been through so much in the last 4 years… Abandonment, moving, my subsequent alcohol abuse, treatment, Children’s Aid.
I now attend an AA meeting and see my addictions counsellor weekly, and see my mental health counsellor and my Family Doctor monthly.
I have had stretches of sobriety in the past but have now committed to working ‘The Steps’ and maintaining my recovery. No more excuses.
Just thought I would share a little about myself…
Much Love All.
