My Sober journey šŸ’

I’m happy to read that and wish you the best :dizzy:. I don’t know about you but may was a very challenging month but It really helped to focus ODAAT. Never thought I’d be able to live in the present.

Seriously this has been so wonderful and I too never thought it’d be possible. Even when I thought I was living in the present before…I was too drunk / high to really be anywhere… Now this feels right and I find I’m appreciating life more.

Sorry May was a hard month. Hoping June treats you better :hugs:

2 years and 2 days… I’m so grateful for the support. Learned to live again without being overwhelmed with fears.

I just want to say that life is better without alcohol. Even if this world is scary and I’m still angry about everything that is wrong and happening …but doing my best one day at a Time.
I know I’m lucky because it’s not easy but I really do believe that it’s not impossible. I wish for everyone who is struggling to try again and again, by connecting with people who understand cause It helps to get out of this place of shame. It gets better.

With all my love.

hi there, I hope you are okay or that you’ll be wery soon. It’s been a while but still coming here sometimes to give support like I received.

How was January??? It was pretty hard here but still sober. Got a lot of great talk with people who did the Dry january.

Didn’t go to meeting a lot lately, only one time this month for a friend I met there. It was so lovely we cried a lot.

And today, 2,5 years…happy even if I know it’s not to take for granted. I’m tired and anxious but happy to be sober. It was so much suffering and anger…

Just right now I’m questionning a relationship and it’s funny because I’m dealing with this sober and it ain’t easy but it’s less heavier . Learning to set boundaries and to find balance.

Hi ! If you are Reading this, know that I believe in you and thank you for everything, for trying everyday :beating_heart:

I’m living very difficult times right now and feeling tired and overwhelmed…but I’m grateful to be sober because I couldn’t have been there for m’y family if I was still drinking.

The tools meetings and people in meetings offered me are helping me a lot . I don’t think about drinkink right now and this is a miracle. Taking things one day at a Time and being in the present is the best way for me to fight, even if I’m very stressed.

I’m doing m’y best and it’s not about being the greatest or the strongest. So if you are Reading this , you are not alone

2 years 9 months and 11 days…haven’t been aware of that before opening the app

I’ve run out of hearts but know that I am very proud of you. Way to kick ass and crush the days in your sobriety :muscle:

I am so very sorry that you are feeling so tired and overwhelmed. It is good to be able to be there for your family but do know that you also need to make sure you take time to take care of yourself. Grateful for the tools but the support is also important.
Sending hugs and love - keep the momentum going strong :muscle:

Thank you :two_hearts: It means the world. June was worst than May but I survived and I’m fine. I did an amazing work and am very proud. I stayed focus and then Took time to process and went sailing with friends…It was great to be in the middle of the sea for hours and days. I went to a meeting and had answers just listenning and being there.

I’m happy and grateful to be sober.

And to read your words tonight.

I hope you are fine (?).

Today is my 3 year anniversary…I celebrated in meeting for the first time…It wasn’t planned until last week and it went well…I choose to talk about the 8th step…as I am in grief and didn’t have time to repair this relationship before her death (my childhood bestfriend)…and as I was also in grief 3 years ago, someone told me that It takes courage to live this loss in sobriety…

My heart is heavy but I’m happy to feel everything and to live this in sobriety. I am very grateful as friends told and share beautiful things.

I have my new coin !

Sending love :tulip:
