I am a Mother I am a Daughter I am a Victim I am a Survivor! I was a Junkie I was a Abuser I was a Low Life, I am no LONGER those no more! I have conquered my demon, my monster is at bay, what once had ahold of me, no longer stands in my way! As moments would pass me, and memories made, I no longer miss those, and I create my own each and every day! Once words that would haunt me, and tear me down and people would say, “look at that junkie she needs to end her life and stay away!” I now hear cheering and hurrays! Once my mother disowned me, she now welcomes me with warming embrace. Her love never ending, at home forever I will stay! My children once feared me, now see mommy is here and they embrace the new me, they love my new way! Although this battle is not quiet over. This is one I’ll forever remain! But I am no longer a Junkie I am a SURVIVOR and I will be one each and every day!
