Nearly $25,ooo saved

And at nearly 3.5 years alcohol free, I’m feeling very accomplished with the sheer amount of money I’ve saved, its amazing! I knew this going in that I spent WAY TOO MUCH on alcohol, and I didnt even drink at the bar! I could never go back to paying to feel like garbage every morning. That was then… this is now.

I couldn’t agree with you more. As I’ve mentioned before, quitting drinking is like picking a part-time job, but you don’t have to go work.

No kidding. It’s amazing what we spend on booze. Especially in the current economy.

Since I quit I paid off my car, my credit cards and paid cash for a new motorcycle. I also picked up the hobby horology (watch collecting). One of these days I’m going to have to quit this watch hobby thing. It’s not a cheap hobby, but only time will tell.
