Neighborhood Coffeehouse Gos-Sipping

It’s probably /possibly linked to my COPD (emphysema), but it’s never cause pain like this, it’s as if someone’s driving a knife under my front left ribs, pains not so bad after some prescribed pain relief and oxygen

How are you feeling?

I got out of hospital about an hour ago with a bucket load of pills.
The pains in my chest aren’t caused by my heart :grinning: or my lungs  but from muscle spasms in the Intercostal muscles between the ribs.
No infection present so they don’t know why it’s happening :unamused: but it ‘should’ ease and clear up in ‘time’.
So in the interim I’ve got antispasmodics to stop/reduce the spasms and pain relief; nothing too nasty, just Naproxen and 30/500 Co-Codamol for pain with Baclofen for the spasms.
All seem to be doing their jobs well :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:so it’s just take it easy and post memes :sunglasses::smiling_imp::innocent:

Thanks, things aren’t going to get done, but, they’re not going anywhere and will get done when I’m 100% back on my feet. I think a long, long hot soak in the bath is in order :diving_mask:

Lol. I drank copious amounts of coffee while i was resting… because i was bored :joy: haha all worked up and nothing to do.

But i was also hospitalized for low blood pressure a few years ago when i stopped drinking coffee, and i drank 2 ventis and was back in normal range

Oh well not being able to drink alcohol will keep you out of trouble at least!:smiley::smiley::smiley:

Now that’s scary, very scary :open_mouth:
No wonder normal people get the shakes and bounce of walls if they have more than 3 cups of instant coffee in a day, if they drank mugs it would be heart attack city.
Perhaps it’s the “addict” gene that, a) makes us love coffee, b) allows us to drink obscene amounts and just feel ‘normal’ and perhaps a little more awake and, c) why we’re so ratty in the mornings until we’ve had at least 2 mugs
