@ProofOfLife corin I noticed you posted a thread about what to watch. I thought this thread might be of help. Its current. And everything listed I can vouch for
Virgin river is !!! Love it!
That was so good! My old boss recommended it. I couldnt stop watching it. The Confession Killer was good too. Absolutely nuts.
Currently on season 6 of The 100. Great show. If youre into animated stuff Disenchantment is pretty good. Its a Matt Groening show, the next “part” comes out this weekend.
I’ve got it saved but haven’t had the chance yet
Car geeks unite,
We just watched Black Air on appletv it’s all about the Buick Grand National, ugh such a fine piece of automotive history, plus it beat Ferraris of the day,
Thanks kiddo.
Money Heist. And if you can handle crude-the history of curse words with Nick Cage🤔
I really want something to watch while I work out but nothing is speaking to me since I finished Top of the Lake (which was great especially season 1, season 2 was gripping but not as mindblowingly great).
I tried Bridgerton but no, can’t do it. Like, the colorblind casting is just, to me, irritating because it’s like we are supposed to believe these privileged people get all these fancy dresses even tho slavery is gone? And race just disappeared, poof, but patriarchy is still just like 1950 but with ribbons? It felt empty but I only got through episode 1. Maybe I’m too tough a crowd right now. Want gripping well written drama with great female leads but I’m not finding it.
Fate- the winx saga … Netflix brilliant show… Its all things the Faye , magic, other realms and so much more. Its great!!
Blown Away
Glass blowing competition which is fascinating, interesting, and engaging.
Enjoyed it way more than expected and binged each series as it was released. Season Two just added.
The new Headspace series is good. Highly recommended, it’s part of the meditation app I think
This is on Stan not Netflix, but its brilliant new film made in new zealand about NZ gangs. It kinda has the same vibe as once were warriors , if anyone remembers that brilliant film from a few decades ago?
@DuncanNZDunno if you know but there was a sequel to OWW called what becomes of the broken hearted. It’s on YouTube.
Not a binge, but a cracking film on Netflix - The White Tiger.
Yessss I watched it a few weeks back. Loved it!!! I love anything and everything about India , but this was a truthful conviction of what really happens. Brilliant film !
