Ah I couldnāt get into this at the time. Maybe I need to give it more time!
I had been putting it off up until this week because I was never quite in the mood for it no matter how good the reviews were. Now I canāt seem to put it down.
Have you watched Severance on AppleTV yet? ![]()
Yes I loved Severance. Isnāt there another season coming soon??
I feel like I watched Rebecca Ferguson in Dune, and also saw a few other movies along the same end of days time⦠And I get plot line fatigue a lot. Even with books, flipping genres floats my boats. Hard to keep seeing the same old same old for me, I get bored.
That makes complete sense and thereās no reason to watch something unless it truly captivates you in my opinion.
Did you ever watch Game of Thrones? It took me like 5 tries to sit and focus enough to actually become invested, but then I was in.
I tried with Walking Dead multiple times but I finally gave up.
And yes, Severance season 2 premieres on Jan 17th ![]()
Yep I loved GOT.
Iām not a Walking Dead girl either⦠And now itās too long to ever try to catch up ![]()
Not quite the same, however:
I did Howlās Moving Castle last night and canāt wait to go back and see Spirited Away (Iāve seen all of the Studio Ghibli movies countless times but last night was the first time Iāve seen Howlās on the big screen [and it was a really big screen]. I havenāt seen Spirited Away on the big screen, yet, so Iām excited)!
Just started this and you are rightā¦so funny. Loving it so far ![]()
Absolutely loved this ⦠very heartwarming ![]()
Iām a sucker for dog movies and I normally cry but this one was a happy movie
I loved it
I too love dog movies and do cry hard⦠Have you seen
A couple amazing movies both based on true storiesā¦in case you havenāt seen
I so envy you. Spirited away is the only one I ever saw on the big screen. It was my first Studio Ghibli and I became a huge fan of Myazakis work instantly. Tell us how it went!
Iāve watched Hachi a few times and it makes me bawl each time
I havenāt seen the other because I remember hearing it was sad and I was like I canāt cry over a dog movie right now lol
Totally understandable. They all made me cry and left me with wonderful fuzzy heartwarming feelings.
Like most people I lost interest half way through season two and I never saw season three at all. Still it made a huge impression on me and on the whole TV and movie world when it first aired in 1990. Rest in Peace David Lynch.
Very excited about this ā canāt wait to see.
Thereās a great Aussie drama on Stan at the moment called Black Snow. Beautiful backdrop of a wonderful part of Australia @AyBee
I hope it moves between streaming services. I donāt have Stan and I really dislike how fractured the streaming market is now - cost you a fortune to get them all.
Thanks for the heads-up though - will definitely keep an eye open for Black Snow
