I have been clam digging! So yummy cooked fresh (minus the bits of sand, but it’s worth it) lol
Never have I worn lipstick in at least 10 years (edit, make that about 8, since my wedding, I think I wore a little lol)
I have when I was young living in MA! It is lots of fun and yummy. Your fingers (mine) get a little cut up from trying to grab them, lol.
Never have I ever worn stilettos!
I have. Never have I ever gone scuba diving
Haaaaaaaahaaaaaaahaaaaaaa!!!
You have what, worn stilettos or lipstick, lol
Welcome to the forum @lBlueBird, and to this Never Have I Ever thread! Glad you decided to join in. It helps if you respond directly to the person you’re referring to, you’ll see a little grey arrow on the right side under their comment so we know how the thread is being followed. I hope you keep playing and I hope I see you around the forum, too!
In the interest of keeping things going, I’m gonna say I have worn lipstick more recently than @Salty but it’s also been quite a few years!
Never have I ever been able to cartwheel.
I was an aspiring gymnast as a youngun, but severely broke my arm when I was 11 - attempting a no-handed cartwheel! The normal ones with hands I can do fine! Haha, even did it a year ago at age 56 to prove it to my boys I still had it! Thankfully, though, no recordings exist.
Never have I ever made baklava (just saw the phyllo sheets at the grocery lol).
I made baklava once. It was decadent and wayyy too sweet for me. Hubby gets a bug up his butt and asks me to make random sweets on occasion. Although I’m sure I didn’t do it properly after watching a cooking show about it, also. There’s quite a history and tradition behind it.
Never have I ever made tiramisu, following the sweets idea
I have jumped out of a perfectly good airplane.
My airborne instructor said
Just remember if your chute doesnt deploy you have the rest of your life to pull the reserve.
Nothing like jumping out of an airplane built by the lowest bidder using a parachute made by the lowest bidder
I have made tiramisu. Turned out alright but not my favourite thing.
Never have I ever got punched in the face (which I’m glad about, obviously…)
Technically I have, but I was wearing padded head gear while practicing martial arts so it wasn’t full contact. Still hurt, though!
Never have I ever taken dance classes as a kid.
I have!!! We had to do “Country Dancing” at school, probably a very English thing. One day the cat had pissed on my P.E. kit and everytime i had to swap partner they were like ewweeeeeeww! What’s that smell!!!
Never have I ever seen a bear in the wild.
Well, I’ve been punched in the face, during a mugging, I’ve taken ballet and modern dance classes, and I’ve seen a bear in the wild - twice, within “scary” distances. I sound way more interesting on this thread than I ever thought of myself!
Never have I ever successfully line-danced though.
I have seen a bear in the wild! I was by myself mountain biking in Allegheny state park believe me I kept my distance (it was a young black bear - I didn’t want to meet mama bear!)
Never have I ever tried sushi (hopefully not a repeat!)
Hmm two in a row. Well I haven’t country line danced, but danced in a line of highland dancers And I’ve eaten sushi.
Never have I ever worn or tried contacts. Just glasses.
I got contacts as soon as my mom would let me, I think it was 6th grade. I don’t wear them as often these days, but they’re handy in the days of mask wearing and cold that leads to condensation on my glasses!
Never have I ever ridden in a helicopter or a small air plane.
One of the highlights of my young life was riding a helicopter across Manhattan, from LaGuardia to JFK, on our way from Akron Ohio to London England. Quite the shuttle service!
Never have I ever been paid to sing or perform in public.
I have, I used to be a fire dancer (poi) in my youth. Got into clubs for free and others got paid to dance, started taking gigs at events, also got into making costumes for the other performers… it was a fun few years.
Never have I ever been in a hot air balloon
I went on a hot air balloon trip over the Masai Mara national park in Kenya on my honeymoon. It was great. Even the crash landing.
Never have I ever completed a 1000 piece jigsaw
