I am going to make scotch eggs, this afternoon. Farm fresh eggs and me-raised pork sausage.
Oh make the Scotch eggs, you will not be disappointed! They’re even better warm
Ooh, they look yum! Never seen them before!
Never seen pickled either, unless they’re the ones in jars in pubs and such…
I’ve not had scotch eggs either but really want to try.
Yup, pickled eggs similar to pub style. I did them lol n juice from pickled beets for a pink/red potluck instead of using artificial dye. Doesn’t look appetizing but was yummy!
Ok @Porcha It appears you have had them. So, won’t you play our game.
Now you can post something you’ve never done and we can continue.
Ooh OK never have I ever parachuted
OMG!!! How have you not heard of scotch egg before.
They are a staple diet here.
I found out also that Americans apparently don’t have sausage rolls?!! It’s this true? WTF
I must admit a sheltered life I suppose! Where is “here”? And no, never had a sausage roll either…
I got a lot of living to do! Good thing I’m not drinking anymore
Gosh! Best scotch eggs I’ve had were in a pub. Had black pudding in the sausage meat and the yolks were still runny! Also, where I am in England pickled eggs are in a big jar behind the counter in fish’n’chip shops.
Us Americans have Italian sausage rolls but not UK style.
Feeling a little sad this thread got stuck.
Any parachuters out there?
Did anyone make scotch eggs and do you have a photo ?
I never did get around to making the scotch eggs. It’s still on my to-do list. The parachuting thing has been mentioned several times in the thread. There is only a handful of people who have done it.
Please feel free to “Never Have I Ever” with no relation to anything mentioned before. Start fresh. Don’t we do this all the time in recovery? Still a lot of new people on the thread. Go ahead and revitalize this thing!
Alrighty then!
Never have I ever lived in a “high-rise” building.
I make these every Easter. Got a good recipe , Salty.
NEVER HAVE I EVER dated/married…
a man that cooks
My husband does all the cooking. I can’t grasp it and burned 2 kitchens.
Never have I ever eaten shrimp. (I don’t like the smell of seafood and stear clear of all of it)
Not to thread jack, but I never knew this was a marketable dating skill, I used to avoid cooking until I had a friend going thru a divorce staying with me, she told my mom don’t worry your sons well fed in return, she said don’t let him lie to you he can cook like a champ, needless to say I was obligated to cook at least once a week from that day on, it became a thing when her kids would visit so would mine and I would make a huge dinner.
Ok back to your regularly scheduled programming,
Never have I ever been married, I can’t seem to get over the hump,
