I have closed a few fingers in car doors, luckily never broken any.
Never have I ever launched any fireworks.
One of my favorite things from living in NH! Ok my only happy thing, lol…
NHIE done line dancing. (yet!)
Ok, I’ll bite. I went line-dancing once. Only once. May have been my most embarrassing night out. Yes, I had had a few, but I was not-so-quietly asked to leave the floor because I was doing it wrong! Yes, I know I was! I was learning, my first time! Geesh. Some people…
Never have I ever used a machete.
I have used a machete. Pretty handy tool! Chop small wood pieces, cut reeds and grass, ward off intruders, you name it!
NHIE chewed my fingernails.
I am ashamed to say biting my fingernails is a terrible habit of mine. I gave up drinking, but nail-biting may never end!
NHIE done calligraphy.
I did a calligraphy class in middle school and loved it. It would be fun to learn again.
NHIE climbed the rope to the top in gym class…if you ever had to climb that damn rope. It was terrifying and embarrassing to do in front of the whole class and I had no upper body strength as a kid.
I’ve gone skydiving 3 times!
I’ve climbed that rope to the top a few times. I was into all kinds of sports when I was young and had a lot of strength. I couldn’t do it now though.
NHIE had a Covid test.
(Going for one later today though)
I got one a few weeks ago. Negative. Got it because daughter had a suspicious sore throat and we thought we might both have it.
NHIE studied any Asian or African or Near Eastern languages.
I have, and my bed, my next door neighbours doorstep but never have I been caught with drugs and I’ve been searched 3 times.
Well that’s not exactly something to write home about
Tell that to my 10 year old self!
I learned a bit of Swahili from my grandparents, who lived in Tanzania and Sierra Leone in the 70s.
Never have I ever poured concrete. Like the quick concrete you mix at home.
I spent part of a summer laying brick for a chimney on my ex-girlfriend’s mom’s house (it was complicated). We started by pouring the concrete footer.
NHIE sheared a sheep, llama or alpaca, nor any other shear-able animal.
Or should I say NHIE shorn a sheep?
If nobody has done this, I can admit that when I was little I shaved my sister’s teddy bear until it was bald all over and then denied it. Does that count? If so, NHIE milked an animal.
What did she do?? I can just picture it, lol
I tried to milk a cow on my grandparents’ farm when I was young… I wasn’t very successful at it lol.
Never have I referred to it as “maths”. Just “math” (singular). “Maths” is a newer term for me; although I realize it’s the correct term, it’s just not something we were taught growing up in school
I think she cried, It was a long time ago, but she got bought another one. The bald one stayed in the attic for years to remind me what I had done.
