Did you know that farmed oysters (they have to be farmed, not wild-caught; the wild catching does a lot of damage) - farmed oysters and other farmed bivalve molluscs, mussels, etc are a very low-carbon source of protein? (This is because farming them requires virtually no external inputs, other than setting them up on ropes and racks and leaving them in the sea; they feed by filtering the seawater.) So go ahead and get yourself some mussels or oysters for your next dinner! They’re actually pretty easy to cook. I use this recipe and it turns out great every time:
