I will call them the “TS Shield-Maidens”. In Viking culture, it was considered a high honorific. I believe it apropos, considering how I view addiction as an individual life or death battle. As I write this, I can actually hear Wagnerian music playing in my mind. Cue “Ride of the Valkyries”…
