There are a few of us here who identify with porn addiction. I’m one of them. Currently 147 days clean. I admitted it was a problem 4 years ago and have gone through relapse many times. I came to this community looking for accountability and support and it’s given me both.
I’m not sure where you’re at in your journey, but there’s plenty of resources out there to inform you about what’s going on with your head as you work towards sobriety. Yourbrainonporn.com was very helpful early on. As I went further I got involved in rebootnation.org
There were some people there that gave me pointers and recommendations for books to read. Breaking the Cycle by George Collins was incredibly helpful in my recovery. I recommend you read it if you can get your hands on it. I believe there is an ebook available.
It’s not going to be easy, but getting clean is the most worthwhile thing you’ll ever do. It’ll make you into that new person you aim to be.
