Hi friends I’m 11 days sober from alcohol and any type of substance and I had countless relapse that leads to me money loss, health loss, mental issues, family issue, etc…

Even If I have these issues in my each relapse, once I stack up some sober days like 2-3 or 6 months I forget all the loss I had previously and I go for just one drink that cycle repeats.

This time I want to take it differently and seriously because next relapse I cannot afford and also these days I’m having boredom because I do not getting enough freelance projects and that means that I have only expenses daily (only for food, fuel, salon ) but not getting money because no works. I’m overthinking that what I will do if I do not get any projects.

My job is to bid on freeelance projects on a platform where employer will award project. Before I got enough works when I stay sober and I’m able to earn decent revenue but this time not winning any projects.

Please give me motivational support

I hear you, very good you check in on TS. Congrats on the 11 days, that is big. I just started and look forward to get to those double digits. Already feeling so much better.

In what sector are you active? Must be frustrating not winning projects currently. Perhaps also because summer is involved and a lot of folks are on holiday? In cases like these I usually walk into a temping agency and work for a short while on whatever is available to keep myself busy. A lot of those (sometimes silly) jobs got my the most amusing memories to look back to and also having met the most fascinating people.

You can do it.

Congrats on 11 days!!! Yay!! 🙂
I totally understand …this kind of boredom made me relapse lot of times.
I am not a very sporty person but when the cravings hit and i am bored, i pack my backpack with some water and snacks and I go on a hike! I pick a destination and walk the s\*it out of me. The first 10 minutes i really doubting my life decisions but after a while it feels soo good! Your brain is focusing on other things.
Thats just what helps me dealing with it.
Take care of yourself, you can do it! 💙

Well done on 11 days, thats great to hear 👏 I think it’s such a positive step for you realising that you want to do things differently this time round and you’re conscious of that and good that you’ve reached out on here. Maybe putting small things in place, going out for a walk or taking up a new hobbie would help. Anything that can distract you really and fill that gap. I find the gym is great for releasing any tension or if I’m feeling a little fidgety too. I hope this helps and know that you’re doing so well 💯💪
