No more drinking. Focusing on getting sober

I’ve decided to re-download the app after several years of the same cycle. I don’t want to drink anymore. I want to be happy and healthy. My tough days are the weekends. It seems that on a Friday after work to Sunday I spend my nights drinking and doing nothing. Then I’m fine during the work week, just to start over on Friday. Things are getting out of hand when I do drink and I need to stop the cycle. I’ll tell myself that I don’t want to drink anymore just for the little voice to creep up and convince me that I’m not that bad. Yesterday was bad and I could have been in real trouble. We went out for the night and got really drunk and choices were made that could have resulted in something seriously bad. I’m choosing this to be my rock bottom and I’m going to focus on getting sober. I have not picked up a drink today and my plan is to go to bed early.
