Have you tried meditating? Not saying it should be used instead of meds! But I find it helpful. It’s good to quiet the mind and get used to those silent moments.
I use an app called Calm which has some free content, not sure how much as I bought the subscription after trying it for a week. There are other meditation apps and lots of stuff on YouTube but I liked it because it gave me everything in order and I didn’t feel like I had to filter through stuff.
