William Shakespeare, Sonnet 31

Thy bosom is endearĆØd with all hearts
Which I by lacking have supposĆØd dead,
And there reigns love and all love’s loving parts,
And all those friends which I thought buriĆØd.
…
Their images I loved I view in thee,
And thou, all they, hast all the all of me.

I’m going to count day 6 as done, I am swapping day 6 and 7. Did a 45 minute spin session with a virtual class today and will do heavy lifting with Norm the Terrible tomorrow.

Caution: Don’t be like Cardinal Wolsey!

William Shakespeare, King Henry VIII

His Promises, were as he then was, Mighty:
But his performance, as he is now, Nothing:

Day 6 complete :white_check_mark:

Modification…I did do 20 wall wide and 29 wall triangle push ups instead of the floor ones.

Trying to figure out an alternative exercise for the Russian twists as my spine is not happy with those either

You might consider the reverse sit-up, but lower one leg at a time. Start on your back, legs extended 6-10 inches off the floor. Lower one leg, bring it back up, lower the other, bring it back up, that’s one rep.

This still works the core with some eccentric effort.

Thank you so much Dan. I do love this and try to do it but it is not perfect form and only one sided so I don’t count it as a exercise

I can get my right leg somewhat working with this movement but my left side is completely screwed. Spine, hip and also the nerve damage from my surgery last year. Very limited in what I am able to do but I do manage to push through

William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice

The quality of mercy is not strain’d,
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath: it is twice blest;
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes

Day 8 done! I’ve been intrigued by Shakespeare’s sister Joan, who was an underground, rebellious Catholic during the reign of Elizabeth I, when such activities (she translated an Italian treatise on being Catholic) were severely punished. But alas, I cannot find any source quotes from her :frowning:

William Shakespeare, Sonnet 84

Who is it that says most, which can say more,
Than this rich praise, that you alone, are you,
