One month challenge! no ciggies and no alcohol

Lets start off with small steps. I envisage if we can get past 30 days then we can make it to 3 months then 6 months and then a year. For any of you that have had relapses in the past whether it be drugs or alcohol or other addictions sometimes we put too much pressure and set goals that we unrealistically cant reach. :

Nope…I did the no alcohol and drugs. I can deal with that. When I tried to quit smoking? Too much.
I learned that I can’t do too much or I’ll fail. ONE DAY AT A TIME, THAT IS ENOUGH.

I think what ever works for you! If its one day well then that is 24 hours, and maybe u can get to 25 hours and increase it that way. Cigarettes have been such a downer for me they r so controlling it shits me. I can stop but my moods are horrendous, the doctor wont give me any scripts to help me, as these could make me potentially lose the plot even more. Its hard I know, but hopefully this new forum will keep me going and keep me motivated to be that healthy person i always see and never think i will be :slight_smile:
