Melancholic.

My uncle Jimmy is dying, he’s got cancer all over. When he finally got looked at for pain in his head and losing consciousness he learned he had brain tumors. This was the beginning of the year. He came to Arizona to be with his brother and sisters, he lived on the road for decades as a truck driver. When he got here, he was a little slimmer than before but still uncle Jim, today… I pray he dies soon. I saw him yesterday… it was as bad as it has been, but today he’s ten fucking times worse. Just pure sadness seeing that old bull this way, he was a motherfucker his whole life, little crazy, little ruthless but he loved my mom and us, always showed us love
He would park the truck right out front and hang out for a few days here and there. My mom has the best and scariest stories of the debauchery when they were privileged kids in upstate new York back in the 70s.

Rekindled old hurts because this is exactly how my grandma went down. She was my 3rd favorite person in the world, behind my wife and my mom. Hell she still is, Love you Grandma.
