One Year. Today August 13,2025

One Year Sober. :white_heart:

Today, I get to look back and say, I DID IT. One whole year of choosing myself, choosing my life, and fighting for a better version of me.

It wasn’t easy, and there were days I wanted to give up, but I kept going. I’m proud of the man I’ve become and everything I’ve accomplished along the way. I’ve learned that my past doesn’t define me — what I do today does.

I got my life back. I got my purpose back. I got me back.

Here’s to one year clean, one year stronger, and a lifetime ahead. I’ll never forget where I came from, but I’m even more excited about where I’m going.

One year down. Forever to go. :folded_hands:t4::heart:

Woo hoo @Jayford! This is a big one:flexed_biceps:

The first year in my opinion is about staying clean and figuring out how you will navigate so many things without your DOC. But the second year is the yummy icing on top because you now get to cultivate the sober life for which you planted the seed one year ago. :seedling::green_heart:

Huge congratulations on one year sober!!!
