I stopped a theft in the shop today!

So new cactus for me.

Obregonia Denegrii, rare cactus only found in a very small area of Mexico.

I feel like it would be difficult to pull off a plant heist… like how do you put that under your shirt or in your purse lol

It was gloves!

“I need you to give me those gloves you stuffed in your pockets”

“What gloves?”

“The ones I watched you put in there that are still hanging out halfway”

“I need those for work”

“That’s all well and good, but you’ve still gotta pay for them”

Called me a few things, gave them back and left. Very high on something.

I just love watching my baby Madagascan Jewel grow and develop. This was one of three seedlings that self seeded, and I’ve given two away. The mama plant has long been a favourite of mine.

The newest leaf on my Birkin has an unusual colouration.

Hm. Interesting. Is that healthy do you think? It doesn’t look crispy or anything…

Not crispy or unhealthy looking at all, just a kind of rich plum colour. Some of the stems have that colour but this is the only leaf.

It doesn’t even look natural, looks painted!

My elephant ear allocasia fell over last night drawing my attention to the amount of new growth recently. Usually the new leaves come one at a time but this is several at once plus a different looking dark green “flower”.
