Even after nearly 10 years together, I still don’t know how he fits his tongue in his head.
I thought my dachshund/black lab cross was unusual but I think you have me beat with a pitbull/chihuahua cross lol
Ha! Dachshund/Black lab…wow!! Bearington is also part Dalmatian, Boxer, and Border Collie but mostly Pitbull/Chihuahua! Here in Los Angeles, both those dogs are very popular, so I see it a lot actually. He’s built like a pit, tho.
My Stubbs looks more like lab but has the shorter dachshund legs ( where he got the name Stubbs from). So his size is very deceptive. He is only mid calf high when he’s on all fours but when on his hind legs he get into things he wants on the kitchen counter because he’s almost as long as a full size lab. Lol
Sounds adorable! Dogs are the best.
Is he about to go for a swim??
He’s never wanted to get in.
He fell in once. It wasn’t good. He’s never out back alone. I don’t think he’s ever been for a swim.
Water is definitely one of those things where dogs either love it and our natural swimmers or they aren’t. My old golden Marlie was a big beach/water guy. We’ve never had Stubbs or Chloe there yet though.
I had to get a shot of Leon with his back paws fully stretched out. I didn’t want to get close because then he would hop up thinking I had treats for him. I love my sweet baby boy.
sweet boy for sure - so adorable
Absolutely adorable! Love this pic. They look so peaceful
Handsome and rugged
