Her name is Candy, she’s a rescue puppy I got from the shelter 6 years ago to help me stay put and with anxiety issues, shes been a great help also she knows how to hug. She’s family now.

At first glance she reminded me of my Minnie a rescue we had for 16 years. She was a love. And I think. No I’m sure she loved me more when I was sober. And she deserved a sober me. She was always there for me.

I did a round of neighborhood dogs tonight, Luna licked me all over as usual and Jake immediately dropped to the floor on his back for extended belly rubs and scratches… I am so fortunate with neighbors who let me come over and love their pets!
